CLIMBING

El Chorro is famous for rock climbing and Mark Glaister of Rockfax has written two books for aficionados.  The second book will be published at the end of 2018, and although the gorge is now dedicated to the Caminito del Rey and off limits for climbers, there are so many other climbs attracting people from all over the world. It’s definitely worth buying the new book, but there is also a lot of info on the Rockfax website at www.rockfax.com.

WALKING

This is one of the best walking areas you could find.  We have hills, valleys, rivers, lakes and forests. There are walks all around the lakes and often you’ll have tracks to yourselves as the majority of visitors stick to the main attraction of the caminito del rey.
